For Bob Borchers and his strong family,
You’re all held in our love, thoughts, and prayers.

Do not grieve for me, for now I am free

I’m following the path God laid for me.

I saw His face, I heard His call,

I took his hand and left it all.

I could not stay another day

to laugh,

to love,

to work,

to play.

Tasks left undone must stay that way.

And if my parting has left a void,

then fill it with remembered joy.

A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss;

Ah yes, these things, I too, shall miss.

My life’s been full, I savored much.

Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.

Perhaps my time seems all too brief;

Don’t shorten yours with undue grief.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow

Enjoy the sunshine of tomorrow.
